The ECO4 scheme has now been extended until 31 December 2026, for homes with completed installs. The extension has been put in place by the UK Government to allow time for any rectifications of completed installs done by installers under the scheme.

Official government figures show that ECO4 has already delivered around 1.01 million measures, with an average of around four measures per household under the scheme’s whole-house approach.

As things stand, there’s no new installations able to be completed through ECO4, however further government funding has been confirmed through the Warm Homes Plan, which is expected to start in January 2027.

We will be reviewing our existing customer database and will proactively contact households who may be eligible under the new scheme when it becomes available.
